History: Born in 1972 as “Especial Rivera,” Estrella Galicia Cerveza Especial is the premium beer that would soon become the brewery’s flagship brand. Representing years of dedication to their craft and culture by their world-renowned brewmasters, Estrella Galicia is layered for up to one month in their state-of-the-art facility to ensure quality and consistency. Estrella Galicia Cerveza Especial is produced using fresh water from the city of A Coruña, where the brewery is located. Then they used a delicate balance of Pilsen and roasted malts, equal parts Nugget hops from Spain, Perle hops from Germany, and our proprietary house yeast strain.
Tasting Notes:
The aromas are reminiscent of barley and malts, with toasted notes of dried fruits. The palate is neutral and light, with a very marked hint of hop flavor
